Launching Fizzy Rockets

Launching Fizzy Rockets

For space week we launched some fizzy rockets.

We know that fizzy tablets react with water making fizzy bubbles of gas.  We were able to guess that this gas is Carbon Dioxide.

We think that real rockets are launched after a chemical reaction takes place (with rocket fuel).  Now we hope that we can launch our own very small rockets using a safe chemical reaction (where water and a fizzy tablet make a gas called carbon dioxide).  Look at what we discovered!
