Making 2D shapes into 3D rockets

Making 2D shapes into 3D rockets

We know the names of 2D and 3D shapes.

We discovered that a rectangle can be made into a cylinder, and a circle can be made into a cone (so can a semi-circle).

A rectangle can be cut into two equal rectangles, two equal squares or two equal triangles depending on how the rectangle is cut.

We needed all these shapes to make our own air rockets (with a little help from teacher, some glue, scissors and sticky tape).

We are so proud of our rockets.
