All classes were involved as spectators in the rocket launch morning on the pitch, hosted by Room 9.

All four second classes and one first class launched water rockets during space week.

2nd classes and 1st classes took part in virtual workshops with Scientific Sue’s Mysterious Microbes and with GMIT’s Colourful Science

2nd classes took part in NUIG’s Cell Explorers – Fantastic DNA

All 2nd classes and one Junior Infant class took part in a Zoom Workshop from Blackrock Castle Observatory during Science Week 2020

All 2nd classes (along with our partner class from Northern Ireland) had a virtual visit from two pilots in association with the Aviatrix Project (April 2021)
