We have had such fun learning all about Antarctica! We read books about penguins and Tom Crean, sorted animals type, used lego and blocks to make icebergs and habitats for Antarctic animals, learned lots of interesting facts about seals, Arctic terns and penguins. We learned about Adelie, Rockhopper and Emperor penguins and wrote sentences about them. We even drew our very own penguins! We were also very lucky to have a visitor, Maeve, to our class! Maeve showed us how to make Antarctic animals. She brought them back to her kiln to tranform them into ceramics! We cannot wait to paint them!
