Engineers Week: Building Playgrounds

Engineers Week: Building Playgrounds

It is Engineers Week.

Today we used our engineering skills to design and make a playground.

We all had exactly the same set of materials and we had to make a playground with at least one moving piece and that could be carried from one place ot another so that we can put it on display so the other classes can see what we made.

We love engineering!

Morning update: The other 1st classes came to visit us to see our great playgrounds and to get some inspiration for when they design their own playgrounds.

We love the "Rosie Revere Engineer" book by Andrea Beaty. Such a lovely inspiring story for upcoming engineers!
