We had a wonderful FRUIT and VEGETABLE day today.
Many thanks to all the parents for sending in such a wonderful variety for us to try.
We were able to put all the fruits and veg in alphabetical order:
Next we sorted the fruit in lots of different ways
This led to lots of interesting discussions and some practical floating and sinking and weighing fruit investigating.
Our favourite part of the day was the tasting. We had to fill our cards, with a smiley face if we liked the taste, a sad face if we didn't like the taste and an X if we didn't try a fruit or veg.
There were even prizes for each of us who tried EVERYTHING!
