Sundar came to our classroom today to teach us all about the basics of coding.
He is with the Bytesize Junior Achievement programme and is helping us to learn how computers work.
We began today's lesson by learning about computational thinking, decomposition and sequencing.
Our brains are working like computer brains.....we think about what we want to be able to do, we break the job down into little pieces and we put these steps in the correct order to solve our problem.
We put this into action by sequencing the steps of how to use origami to make a fox.
We made and then decorated our foxes. We are very proud of how they turned out.
Many thanks to Sundar for such a wonderful class. We can't wait until part 2 next week.
