It's Maths Week.
Today Ms. Tangney's senior infant class joined us for a fun session on target boards.
A target board is a board with maths items on it (in our case, numbers to 10).
We had to find the biggest number in a row, the smallest number, the number beside.... the number under..... the number between...... the number that was repeated in a column etc.
We also had to find the answer (on the board) to maths questions like..how many legs does my table have?
The senior infant students helped the junior infants to write the answers on our whiteboards.
It was a lot of fun.
