We went on a nature walk in October and collected leaves and pine cones. We observed the various colours of the leaves (mainly orange, brown, red and yellow). When we returned to class we used the leaves to make a nice bed for our hedgehogs, which we had painted earlier on in the week. It was fun to step on the leaves. We noticed they made a crunching sound. iIt was also fun to throw the leaves up in the air!!!! 😀
