Our Ocean Project was represented by our teacher at the Féilte festival of teaching at the weekend.
Noirín and Sibeal from the Galway Atlantaquaria, Cushla from the Marine Institute and Camden Trust and our teacher explained to teachers from other schools how to learn all about the ocean while having fun doing dramas, artwork, making ocean boxes and going on beach safaris and litter pick ups.
We hope to spread our message of Looking After Our Oceans to other schools and other children in Ireland.
Dr. Lynn Ramsey, the director of the Teaching Council of Ireland was delighted to present teacher with the Ocean Champions Schools National Award at the Féilte festival of Education.
