This month we have been exploring "explanation texts" in both our reading and writing.
After reading the explanation text on Papier-mâché we decided to give it a go and YES the warning was correct - it was very messy but great fun too!
First, we created a form with a balloons. Today we attached layers of newspaper and paste. We will have to wait until they are dry and then repeat the layers again. The next time we will add toilet roll holders and egg cartons, too. Watch this space for updates!
