We have been talking a lot about protecting our ocean. Last week we explored the kinds of rubblish in the ocean that would float and the kinds that would sink. We also talked about the damage that pollution can cause to ocean wildlife. We are going to do our best to spread our message that "we have to look after our oceans and our ocean creatures".
We have taken on the challenge that teacher suggested and we are making ocean dioramas.
We had two very impressive boxes on Monday. We even showed them at assembly and to Ms. Kyne's class when they came to visit us.
7 more boxes arrived in school on Tuesday. Some more boxes are ready too, but they are still at home at home. We will bring them to class before Friday. On Friday we will invite other classes to come and see our boxes so we can explain all about Ocean Sustainability and about keeping our ocean clean.
Every single student in the class made a really impressive Ocean Box and we were terrific at our open day. Teacher is SO proud of us.
