Using 2D and 3D shapes to make air rockets

Using 2D and 3D shapes to make air rockets

We discovered that from a rectangular piece of paper we can make squares, then triangles.

We can roll a rectangle into a cylinder, we can make a circle into a cone, and we can divide rectangles into two triangles.

It is very useful to know our 2D and 3D shapes when we are making rockets (projectiles).

We will fly these with a launcher, using air under pressure.
