We have learned about the water cycle.

If we have water in a clear plastic bag on the window we should be able to see the condensation, and perhaps even the precipitation.
We decided to grow some runner beans in sealed bags on the window. We hope we won't even need to water our seeds because the water cycle should keep our seeds watered.
This is all our first times trying this (even teacher's) so fingers crossed we will manage to grow our plants.

Our seeds are breaking open and the new green shoots are beginning to grow.

Now our little shoots are looking stronger.

Our little shoots are nearly too big for their ziploc bags.
13th May 2024
Some of our little shoots have outgrown their bag and will need to be repotted in a pot.
We have concluded that the seeds that had too much water didn't grow as well as those with just a small amount of water, they just turned mouldy!
17th June 2024
Oisín took his little plant home, and planted it in a flower pot.
