We learned about the water cycle today.
It is interesting that puddles on the groud evaporate (go up to the sky as vapour), water droplets form together to make clouds and then the clouds fall as rain.
This is called the Water Cycle.
Here is a song about the water cycle.

Today we each planted a broad bean in a plastic bag. We rolled up some cotton wool in a tissue and put the bean on top. We watered our seed and then we sealed the bag.
We should be able to see clouds (condensation) forming in our plastic bags and then drops falling on our seeds.
We hope we can grow our seed this way without having to water them again. We'll see what happens in the next few weeks.

Friday, 19th June. Look at our seeds now! They have all started to sprout.
We are so excited watching them grow.

Last update, Friday, 29th June. Our seeds have all started to grow. It is time to plant them in pots at home and watch our bean plants grow big and strong. Finally, the seeds have grown so well. Now they are ready to plant in a pot. We can't wait to eat the beans that grow.
