We had great fun baking cookies. We worked on procedural writing and discussed the recipe and all the individual steps required to make a delicious cookie. We worked in groups of seven and there were only seven ingredients so each of us were responsible for one ingredient. We took turns weighing out ingredients, sieving and mixing. The hardest part was waiting for them to bake! We look forward to trying out more recipes with Ms. Bohan and Mr. Faherty.
