Beach Safari 2021

Low tide and beautiful weather this morning!

We headed to the beach for a very exciting beach safari.

We have already been learning about marine life, about pollution and the environmental impact of pollution, about tides and the moon and about water safety.

On the beach we tried to identify different kinds of seaweeds, shrimp, crabs and jellyfish.  We made marine artwork and went fishing in the rockpools to see what we could see.  We also played on the green patches of grass and admired the marine wild flowers.

We really enjoyed exploring on the beach and hope to visit the beach again with our families over the summer holidays.
