Beach Safari 2022

Low tide and beautiful weather this morning!

We headed to the beach for a very exciting beach safari.

We have already been learning about marine life, about pollution and the environmental impact of pollution, about tides and the moon and about water safety.

On the beach we tried to identify different kinds of seaweeds, shrimp, crabs and fish.  We made marine artwork and went fishing in the rockpools to see what we could see.  We were very careful to “Take nothing but pictures and Leave nothing but footprints!”

We really enjoyed exploring the beach and in the water and we hope to visit the beach again with our families over the summer holidays.

BEST DAY EVER!
