What a day!
Our last day with our friends from Saint Pol de Léon in France, and a very special 8th birthday (which we sang in English, in Irish, in French and in Breton!).
The weather was beautiful, sunny and warm.
We made the most of the lovely day, on the beach with our friends.
We really enjoyed the walk to the beach with our international partners, our beach safari (searching for different types of seaweeds, fish, plants and shells), our sandcastle building adventures, our race along the sand, our litter picking challenge, lots and lots of photos together, our picnic lunch outside, the gymnastics and dance displays, the exchanging of presents and goodie bags, and above all – our fond farewell.
We wish “Bon Voyage” to our visitors. Your visit has been an experience of a lifetime for us. We will never forget you, and we promise to write to you as pen pals, to Zoom call you from time to time, and to welcome you again with open arms if you come back to Galway again.
