As part of Engineers Week we chose to undertake a STEM challenge: to make catapults. We have got so good at reading that we were able to read and follow directions without any help from teacher.
We really enjoyed constructing our catapult “The Pinger” which was perfectly pitched at our level.
We had a lot of fun making the catapults and then launching ping pong balls and pom poms to knock targets!
