I had 12 counters altogether. I put 2 counters on the first plate and all of the rest of the counters on the second plate. Then I counted how many were on the second plate. There were 10 so
2 + 10 = 12.
We used counters and plates to work out our number bonds to 12.
We had 12 counters each and split them on to 2 different plates to help us find what numbers make 12.
