We have learned about floating and sinking.
We tried to float a sphere of marla. It sinks. If we make the ball of marla into a boat shape, we can get it to float. In fact, we can even get our boats to carry passengers (marrofat peas). We could get over 30 passengers into our boats before they sank. Later this week we will be making our own sailboats and testing them to see if they will float!
