We have paper helicopters, and lots of interesting questions:
- Which way do they spin, clockwise or anticlockwise?
- How can we change the direction of spin?
- Does the size matter to the speed in which the helicopter falls/the number of rotations the helicopter makes before it falls?#
- Does the kind of paper/card/newspaper to the speed in which the helicopter falls/the number of rotations the helicopter makes before it falls?
- Does the colour of the paper/card/newspaper to the speed in which the helicopter falls/the number of rotations the helicopter makes before it falls?
- What things in nature use helicopters wings?
We were able to answer these questions (and many more) by flying our helicopters and comparing them to other helicopters being flown.
