Effective communication between home and school is fundamental to the full development and progress of the child. This must continue during the child’s care in our school.

Parent/Teacher meetings are arranged annually. The school issues notes on information of interest.  All children receive an end of year report.

Parents are most welcome in our school at other times should they wish to discuss matters relating to their child. While we stress that members of staff gladly make themselves available to meet you, please contact the school to arrange a convenient time as the school day is short and every day is precious.

We ask you not to interrupt the day’s work by popping into the classroom ‘just to have a word’.
If as a parent you are concerned about any aspect of your child’s school life, the matter should first be discussed with the class teacher. If this proves unsatisfactory the matter should be taken up with the principal.

Children walking to/from school alone should always be aware of the person whom they should contact in the event of parents/guardians being unavailable.
We ask that you ensure that the school always has an up-to-date and immediate contact number for you.
