Kay came to visit us today. She visited each 2nd class to talk about climate change, about making our planet a better place and she also did some gardenting with one class.
We learned about greenhouse gases and the effect of the greenhouse gases on our environment.
We learned what we can do to help our planet and we came up with individual plans to make just a little improvement in the foods we eat (avoiding palm oil), in how we take care of our planet (not throwing litter, planting vegetables, cycling or walking instead of driving, recycling paper and clothes, cleaning beaches and parks etc.)
We know that each one of us can make a difference. We will spread the word!
