We learned lots about different kinds of materials:
Can you recognise materials that are: transparent, translucent or opaque; hard or soft; brittle or pliable (bendy); waterproof or absorbent; cuddly, sparkly; large or small; patterned, plain or colourful; rough or smooth?
We played a fun game of “materials pass the parcel” and then looked at each material under the digital microscope.
We particularly enjoyed looking at our uniforms and our skin and hair under the microscope.
