In preparation for Space Week next week, we have made foam rockets.
We used radiator insulation foam, duct tape, and card for the fins.
We understand how we can make squares and triangles from rectangular pieces of paper. We are very impressed that we can use a 2D shape (a rectangle) to make other different 2D shapes (smaller rectangles, squares and triangles)
These projectiles (rockets) fly with the energy from the elastic bands!
Proper rockets use fuel and that is why these are projectiles rather than rockets.
