We are reading a wonderful novel in class. It is called “When Jessie Came Across the Sea”, written by Amy Hest.
In the story Jessie and her grandmother can make lace.
Today we tried making lace from paper by folding and then cutting paper with scissors.
We made more lace by using sponges to print onto doilies.
Our lace is beautiful!
