Mission Statement
Scoil Chaitríona Junior enables its pupils, staff and parents to be the best they can be.
Our Ethos
We seek to promote an ethos which is:
Welcoming, tolerant, open, listening, safe, caring, inclusive, aesthetically pleasing and fun.
We are proactive in our efforts to achieve this environment through our language and our actions.
The teachers see parents/guardians as partners in this process.
School Vision
In Scoil Chaitríona Junior we aim to create a caring, inclusive and secure environment, where all children will reach their full potential by being happy, sociable and respectful.
We will instil in them a sense of confidence, self-worth and achievement through active participation in
their learning and personal development.
We will question the world around us and aquire the values which will encourage a sense of wonder, awe and appreciation.
We aspire to achieve this through example and influence of the teachers, parents and the wider school community.
As an inclusive school, we encourage everyone to respect difference, to be tolerant and empathetic.
This will be nurtured in our caring Catholic school.
