We have a noisy rocket.
When you put a square of newspaper into the nose, then throw the rocket (projectile) in the air, it will make a loud BANG when it lands on the ground again.
This happens because the rubber nose of the rocket compresses when the rocket hits the ground, causing the newspaper to rip.
It is this ripping of the newspaper that gives the loud sound.
We were surprised the first time we heard it!
We also launched two small elastic powered projectiles (rockets) outside. Not as impressive as our foam rockets!
