For Science Week we used the class digital microscope to see what the materials looked like up very close.
We were surprised at how many of the materials (including jumpers, shirts, cloths, towels, socks, runners) looked as if they had been knitted.
Things look very different up close. When we looked at them under our Celestron digital microscope, the results were surprising and very impressive. We also looked at some objects from nature under the microscope.
We were fascinated to see our hair and skin, a bumble bee, a fly’s wing and leg, a butterfly wing crab’s claws and deodorant crystals under the microscope.
