After learning about materials, using tigtagworld.com to find out more about materials, and after playing “materials pass the parcel” we used the class digital microscope to see what the materials looked like up very close.
We were surprised at how many of the materials (including jumpers, shirts, cloths, towels, socks, runners) looked as if they had been knitted.
Things look very different up close. We can’t wait to see some things from nature under the microscope!
