Mr. Gleeson organised a trip to the Christmas Market for 4 of the second classes and Mr. Haran’s class today.
We had an absolutely wonderful day.
We walked to town by the railway line, ate our picnic lunches in the Eyre Square Shopping Centre, did a maths trail around the market, visited the statue of Padraig O’Connaire, rode a sleigh, ate doughnuts, played in the playground, rode the Santa train, had a toilet break in Supermacs, visited Santa, Mrs. Claus and a very lively elf in the Eyre Square Shopping Centre, and then walked back home again. Fantastic fun! I’m sure everyone slept well after that. Teacher sure did!
